How to get ready for your first hot yoga class.
If there’s one thing that’s certain in a hot yoga class, it’s that you can expect to get sweaty. This means that being well-hydrated before your class is a must. Make it a point to drink more water than you normally do on the day of your class, and bring plenty of water to drink during the class itself. Additionally, it can be difficult for your body to adjust to the heat, but if you don’t come to class with a full stomach, it can make that adjustment easier, so stick with light meals before class.
You’ll also want to make sure that you dress appropriately for your first hot yoga class. You’ll definitely want to wear something cool and that you can move in, like shorts and a t-shirt. You’ll need to bring your yoga mat, a tower and water; however, if you forget something, you can rent or buy it with us!
